Get to Know Me

Dr. Jacob Priluck, Psy.D. is a licensed psychologist in the state of Maryland. He specializes in neuropsychological and psychological evaluations for all ages, as well as psychotherapy.

 

Dr. Priluck earned his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the American School of Professional Psychology in Arlington, VA, with an emphasis in neuropsychology. He completed his doctoral training with the Maryland Department of Health and at Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital. Dr. Priluck completed his pre-doctoral internship at WellSpan Health, the eighth largest behavioral healthcare provider in the country. Following his doctorate, he completed his postdoctoral fellowship in neuropsychological assessment at Neuropsychological and Psychological Services in Springfield, Virginia.

Dr. Priluck's professional experiences include providing neuropsychological and psychological services. He has taught in the doctoral programs at the University of Maryland, College Park, and the Chicago School of Professional Psychology, teaching courses in cognitive and personality assessment, diversity, and ethics. He is involved in various peer-reviewed research projects and has presented at the International Neuropsychological Society’s annual meeting. His research interests are in orbitofrontal dysfunction, persistent sequelae following mild TBI, and objective/quantitative assessment of emotion regulation.

 

Dr. Priluck's greatest clinical interest in assessment is in translating test results into practical recommendations in order to improve functional and emotional well-being.

 

In psychotherapy, Dr. Priluck is committed to helping people know themselves as deeply as possible and enjoys collaborating with patients to find new strategies and novel dimensions to their lives.
